Home care by a professional certified PSW contributes significantly to maintaining a loved one healthy and happy, and to keeping them in their home longer. Home care is increasingly popular because seniors and others who need assistance are able to maintain their independence, continue to live according to their habits and preferences, and maintain existing social and community ties.

Home care providers are caregivers who come into a home or other location to provide assistance with day-to-day tasks, monitor health, and provide practical and emotional support.

Home care does not have to be in the home but can be anywhere the loved one is. This includes in the hospital, a seniors residence, assisted living or long term care facility, a rehabilitation facility, a hospice – anywhere!

Flexible Schedule

Homecare services can be provided on most any schedule that meets the needs of the patient. Joyful Homecare ^TM will provide homecare service for from four hours a day to around-the-clock 24/7 awake care and 24/7 live-in care.

Free Assessment

Joyful Homecare ^TM will perform a free assessment and will prepare a personalized Care Plan and a schedule that that is right for the family. We will also assist with transitioning from hospital or other facility to home or to wherever the patient will reside.

Homecare is appropriate when a patient is recovering from surgery or an extended hospital stay. It is also appropriate when one is rehabilitating after an injury, stroke, heart attack or other illness or disease and has frailties that prevent them from living as independently as they did before.

Respite Care

Homecare is appropriate to provide some relief to a family member or other person who has been caring for a loved one but who needs a break or to be augmented. This is called Respite Care. It may be just to allow someone to go on a date to the movies. If a family caregivers need time outside of the home we are here to fill in for them.
